We offer residential training for both general doggy manners and obedience as well as specific sled dog skills for canicross, bikejoring, and working as part of a larger team. Your dog will learn in a positive, reward based environment, with play being a big part of their stay. We have a one acre, fully fenced field for free running and play, either with my own dogs, or, if your dog is dog shy or reactive, just general looniness, fetch, and having a good time. We also have a separate training field, which is also fully enclosed.
Our training is client led, so after discussion with you, we will prepare a training programme, working towards the behaviours and aims that you have for your canine companion. You will be given homework to read whilst your dog is in our care, and there will then be a two hour hand over lesson when your dog is collected or dropped back to you, along with a comprehensive written report. You will be sent daily reports during your dog’s training holiday with us, and we welcome contact from you during this time.
Your dog can either be collected from your home or you can drop them into us. We have a fully fitted out dog van, with state of the art crates and extractor fans fitted.
